Emotional perception: sociology and affective neuroscience
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this paper, the author advocates the importance of integrating the findings of affective neuroscience to the sociology of emotions. In recent times, affective neuroscience has incorporated culture and society in the explanation of emotional process. This creates the possibility of posing research problems that combine the findings of the sociology of emotions and affective neuroscience. Drawing on the analysis of documents, this paper argues that the perception of an emotional event is one of those potentially shared research problems.
