A cien años de Weber: la ciencia como vocación y el resurgimiento del nacional-populismo
Resumen
Han pasado cien años desde la muerte de Max Weber y 102 desde la publicación de su ensayo clásico “La ciencia como vocación”. El autor revisa aquí varias de las ideas de ese ensayo y analiza, desde una perspectiva weberiana, el surgimiento del nacional-populismo, los orígenes histórico-estructurales de la situación presente y el significado que ha tenido para los simpatizantes de este movimiento. Esta explicación y comprensión tiene consecuencias directas para los intentos actuales de revertir un movimiento que ha cambiado el curso de la historia reciente en Estados Unidos y otros países del mundo desarrollado.
